Introduction :
Reviewing and analyzing a project schedule is equally important as planning and tracking the schedule. Reviewing the schedule demands more fundamental clarity on project management concepts and application. However it is certainly essential for senior management to understand the tool to effectively review and analyze the project schedule.
This module is designed to make the senior management more effective in reviews using Microsoft Project. It will aid in understanding the logic behind using the tool.

High Level course flow :
Day 1 :
Fundamental demonstratino of structure of MSP in reviewing context. Reading assignment facilitated in the class. Explanation and driving the importance of checklist usage in developing and tracking project schedule using MSP
Day 2 : Detailed demonstration of project schedule review and analysis by the facilitator. Any one real life project in the organization would be reviews in the class by the facilitator while demonstrating the finer points in MSP.
Participants, in the teams of 3, will then be given real life projects and will be asked to review the project in presence of the facilitaor in the class.
Prerequisite :
This course is designed for those who have some project management knowledge, and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Project.
H/w S/w Reqd. :
Each participant should have a workstation/ laptop. Or else, 2 (maximum) people can share one workstation. LCD and a computer should be available to the trainer faculty. All the machines should be loaded with either MSProject'98 or Project 2000 or Project 2003, 2007, 2010 or higher/Lower versions. (as the use may be).
