Introduction :

"Ability to visualize the project" is considered to be a very important competency of a project manager. The visualization of a project is made more meaningful by breaking it down in more meaningful components. This decomposition is collectively known as Work Break Down Structure (WBS). Stable the foundation, stronger the construction. Weaker the foundation; unstable the construction! Similarly, weaker the WBS, unstable the project management!
All successful project managers give credit to well-defined WBS for their successful projects. It is the WBS, which help PMs in planning, executing, controlling and in closing their projects.
This course essentially focuses on the concepts, importance, guidelines and practical use of WBS in project.

Prerequisite :
